How to plan both stand-alone and over-reaching plot arcs in a series of linked stories. Includes timelines, long and short term character goals, over-lapping scenes, how to make characters individual and world building. (4 hr advanced workshop adds worksheets, exercises, brainstorming & critiques.) 

Common Writing Mistakes & How To Avoid Them

The writing mistakes which drive editors and readers insane and how best to avoid them. Includes back-story dumps, the tell-to-show ratio, head-hopping, fickle motivations, over-used/cliched tropes and characters TSTL.  (4 hr advanced course adds worksheets, exercises, brainstorming & critiques.)

Marketing & Selling Books Online

How to sell both your books and yourself in a professional, successful manner online.  Includes author branding, taglines, back-blurbs, cover art, banners, Social Media, Street Teams, Readers Groups, Blog Tours, metadata, advance copies, pricing and price promotions.
